Another CRUCIAL project is products to eliminate our dependence on plastic food packaging. Like, these noodles came in a plastic tub, while the soup came in a nice paper one, with a paper lid. It's so stupid! The dry, easy to pack noodles are in a super water-tight plastic thing. What the hell? The noodles could easily be in a box, like a small version of a pizza box, say, lined with a sheet of wax paper.
Paper is way way BETTER. When you're done with it, you don't have to wash it, you don't have to toss something filthy, you just compost it. Impractical? Sure, if you don't have a brain (or if it hasn't been anesthetized by living in our "advanced" civilization). If you happen to have a working brain, or care to look into it, you'll find it's totally easy.
I want to get into the business of making very AESTHETIC food containers, out of paper, and enamelled steel, and glass, and reeds, and vigorously promoting them in all the right places, and also of packing all sorts of groceries in glassine, and other kinds of paper, with beautiful labels that explain what's inside, where it comes from, how it got where it is, and what to do with it, how to think about it, quite exactly, to get tremendous benefit.
