observations

turns out ads is not a buy ... well, then again, it'll probably go up, and we don't know by how much ... after all, it's up quit a bit in ten years ... and the increase could accelerate ... but, it's also up, and it's a stock to watch - for years - for a collapse to lower prices

in the three months ending March 2 2015 ads has made a turtle pattern.

order

It's in a buy area - buy at 2.79, even with a stop, 2.66, just under the last 2010, it should rally to 6 ... but there's no bottom in place on the current rally. Something should form, and the 2.79p/2.66s is 5% risk ... well, that's not all that bad, actually. But it's true, buying here represents a measure of impatience.

saving ...

OK, yesterday afternoon I got into a rhythm and saved charts for 30 stocks from a list (1600) up 100% in 52 weeks. Saved them in several folders, naming them 1, 2, etc., so I can go through them in the order I saved them - which is somehow comforting. Carefully labelled each chart with symbol and date. (I have to do that manually.)

Folders: historical examples (of bottom patterns), ready-q (ones that might be buys now or in the future, basically a watch list), and superline, a separate category I want to look back at in the future. Saved long term and detail charts for each, as necessary, naming them 1 and 1_max, or the like.

This morning, I'm doing some more.

copy ... that's the symbol

it's a really strong pattern. buy at .2 ... maybe it won't come down quite that far ... might update the price in a few days ... every chance of going to $1, thus, 5x

saved the chart (000003). we'll see in the coming months what this kind of pattern means

saving ...

cmey

the question, here, is, can this be bought at .11, or only at .15, or not even that low

it has every chance, i think, of going to .2, thus, 10 or 20 x return. of course, i don't know that, i just think it. saved the chart. in a week or two, we'll know.

saving ...

Talking it over with K, said what I'm going to do is save 1 y charts that seem to show a buying opportunity. In a month, or whatever, we can look at those charts, and at what's happened since, and start to learn what the patterns mean.

adsv

note the date

buy it at .0007. you might not be able to get that price, but there's a good chance you can. use a limit order. don't pay more than that. if you can't get it, you can't get it.

what's it going to do? is it going to go back up to .004? it kind of looks that way. it could go higher, too. but i'm not really sure. we'll have to watch it.

this is also one that could go way high. the historic highs are at $200,000. By $10 worth. Each dollar could turn into a million dollars. No, $10 million. Weird.

Back to work. I reviewed those 99 stocks. About 5, maybe fewer, were tradeable on the 10 day chart. Now I want to do something else. I'm going to be charting all afternoon, having charted all morning.

wine

So my wine guide - from the closeout bin at B&N - said Napa wines tend to be overpriced, due to the cachet, and they only make a few whites (I'm mis-paraphrasing, but, whatever). So I decided to ask for a not too steep Napa white. The guy at Total Wines was really helpful, which surprised the heck out of me, since I was at my nerdy-slob worst, and showed me this, for $20. It's not my idea of a great white (having now tasted it, drunk a glass and a half), but it's fancy tasting, and fancy looking, so I like it.

The idea, I'm saying, is to live like a millionaire. What difference does it make if you actually are one? Well, OK, maybe it makes a difference, but you can still do it. Crusty bread. Real cheese. Mayonnaise. A fancy wine at a moderate price.

What's the key to a fancy wine? It has a real cork.

Maybe you can read the label, if you click on the image.

Note the cloth napkin. For proper usage, you need to boil them after laundering. Note the wooden desert plates and forks. Yeah, it's showy, but it's also real. I say that makes a difference.

Live like a millionaire. I'm doing it on the super-cheap. That's no joke. It's possible. Live like a hippie millionaire. Think about how to help the poor. Don't be a racist. Don't pay any attention to the marxists (except to appreciate their fine finesse with language, and to be apprised of what they're saying - about decontextualization, and what not -, even if it's bull).

very nice crusty bread (wolfgang rye from woof), but it did come in a fancy plastic bag

hard boiled egg, sliced, small shrimps, boiled, lettuce leaves, garden tomato, super ripe, cucumber slices, mayonnaise. cheese. wine.

maybe i've figured out how to speed this up
if i don't actually draw the chart, but just look at the synopsis
i can still see the ones that are actually trading
it saves a click and a good wait for the charts
and only a few of them are really trading

finally, number 25, actively trading on the 10 day chart
