order
It's in a buy area - buy at 2.79, even with a stop, 2.66, just under the last 2010, it should rally to 6 ... but there's no bottom in place on the current rally. Something should form, and the 2.79p/2.66s is 5% risk ... well, that's not all that bad, actually. But it's true, buying here represents a measure of impatience.

saving ...
OK, yesterday afternoon I got into a rhythm and saved charts for 30 stocks from a list (1600) up 100% in 52 weeks. Saved them in several folders, naming them 1, 2, etc., so I can go through them in the order I saved them - which is somehow comforting. Carefully labelled each chart with symbol and date. (I have to do that manually.)
Folders: historical examples (of bottom patterns), ready-q (ones that might be buys now or in the future, basically a watch list), and superline, a separate category I want to look back at in the future. Saved long term and detail charts for each, as necessary, naming them 1 and 1_max, or the like.
This morning, I'm doing some more.

saving ...
some housekeeping
saved charts for
chatterbox call centers
m line holdings
(in folder watchornot-q/p1top11)
(reviewing stocks trading between .11 and .11 -
a completely secular scan, doesn't consider price action, just price -
based on the idea that cheap stocks move a lot)
(166 stocks on the list)(purpose of narrow range is to limit the number)

saving ...
I'm engaged in a very, very slow process of saving charts. Each saved chart takes many minutes, but the result is, or feels, hugely productive, because I'm saving them in a way that will make them very usefully accessible.
It has to do with that system I was writing about a while back, of creating categories. I'm now putting each saved chart in some very specific group, carefully linked in with the other members of that group. What it looks like I'm developing is a reference tool, which will allow me, when I see a pattern, to inspect all similar patterns I've seen (or recorded) before.
This catalog is built with html, and css. Another iteration of it is at atempenote.

gearshift
That may be the last of that kind of post, where I'm listing stocks and trying to keep track of the research, here.
I've been setting up a container theory web site on the hard drive, for recording research results and trades. It's working perfectly. I can display charts, with notes, just the way I want.
I have to do that on the hard drive, not on line, because I don't have the rights to the charts. I just need it for my own reference, though. (If I get to publish it, someday, maybe I can get permission to use the charts.)
It's time to move on. Doing just this stocks stuff is, as noted, embarrassing.

placed an order
ordered 300s ccme at 1.47, $445
this is good!
I might not be able to execute a trade, today, but this is good. I'll know in a couple of days, I think, whether my analysis is correct. There's constant active trading in the stock. And I have two of them on my list, after only going through a little of it.
new list
probably shouldn't, but the idea is to reserve this for the down 50 in 4 list
and make notesalphabetically - color coded
scsg down wave
wow, it's another good one, heat
cnr, a cool down wave, really fast, but thinly traded
ccme, another great down wave, with a foot, and steady trading
cnwd, nothing
and make notes

this is a classic day trading situation, i think
active trading, violent price change, distinct pattern
developing through the morning

nope
nope, can't hack it
too many untradeable stocks
looking at list down 50% in 4 weeks
sorted in descending order by price
lphi, tradeable, falling fast, need buy signal
lexg, tradeable, range is from 1.2 to 3.3
cagc, will it reach 1, or just almost?
placed order, 100at1eod
plugd, a lot of shares trading, down from 5 to 2.3 in a few days
tracking sideways for two days
cwlcd, monster wave, cheap under a dollar for monster gains (x10,000)
xctgf, big wave, rebound from 2.5 to 6 near certainty, but too thin to buy
